Meet Julian Brazil

Julian lives and works in the constituency. He is a Local District and County Councillor and an Executive support member with responsibility for Devon's £1 billion property portfolio.

He trained as a Science teacher at Kingsbridge, and South Dartmoor Community Colleges - and then worked as a supply teacher in the South Hams. He is a former finance director of a central London printing company. He is captain of the East Prawle village cricket team. He is a member and previous chairman of the Green Liberal Democrats.

He was educated at Bristol and Exeter Universities with an honours degree in Zoology and PGCE in Science.

He has won 'safe' Conservative seats on South Hams District Council and Devon County Council. He has worked at Westminster for Matthew Taylor and then Charles Kennedy as head of party liaison and special advisor on the environment.
